Chun Wo Construction Holdings Company Limited ("Chun Wo"), a core member of AAI, is a local contractor and construction engineering company with a long history. In the beginning, Chun Wo mainly undertook building projects for the government and private sector; it started to participate in railway construction and civil engineering projects in the 70s; By the 90s, it became one of the few local contractors to hold five types of registration and qualification to work on public projects. In 2017, Chun Wo secured the “Design and Construction of the Aqueduct“ contract in the Philippines, expanding the construction engineering business to overseas markets around the Belt and Road.

Responsibilities

  • Assist MEP Technical Manager to check E&M designs prepared by other. 
  • Finding value engineering opportunities for E&M packages and designing basic E&M calculations to justify optimization. 
  • Administrative and drafting work to support manager. 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; 
  • 2 years' experience of E&M design. e.g. mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with 1 year experience of E&M site work; 
  • Basic knowledge in E&M engineering principle (including but not limited to hydraulics, electromagnetics, mechanics, electronics, etc) 
  • Basic understanding of NEC4 Contract 
  • Graduate completed scheme A is also acceptable; 
  • Solid site experience (including preparation of method statement, site coordination); 
  • Basic understanding of E&M project programming and cost planning; 
  • Conversant in BIM application will be advantage; 
  • Strong team player and able to work under pressure; 
  • Good command of English and Chinese; Excel in written English 
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and E&M design software; 
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
