Chun Wo Construction Holdings Company Limited ("Chun Wo"), a core member of AAI, is a local contractor and construction engineering company with a long history. In the beginning, Chun Wo mainly undertook building projects for the government and private sector; it started to participate in railway construction and civil engineering projects in the 70s; By the 90s, it became one of the few local contractors to hold five types of registration and qualification to work on public projects. In 2017, Chun Wo secured the “Design and Construction of the Aqueduct“ contract in the Philippines, expanding the construction engineering business to overseas markets around the Belt and Road.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall site management to achieve the company standard regarding safety, environmental, document record, progress, quality and resource utilization;
  • Liaise with Client Representatives, Subcontractors and Suppliers to resolve site problem and maintain good partnership spirits;
  • Manage all site team performance and give precise direction;
  • Prepare regular report to Project Manager for review the project performance. 

Requirements

  • Corporate Member of the HKIE or equivalent qualification in civil or structural engineering discipline;
  • 10 years post professional qualification experience in the construction contracts;
  • (i) Among which at least 5 years in managing building contracts as a main contractor’s Site Agent or above.
  • (ii) Also, shall have 1 year of proven experience as Construction Manager or Site Agent in the use of NEC contracts or be Accredited NEC3 or NEC4 ECC Project Manager or construction professional who have undergone not less than four-day accreditation or certification course or equivalent recognized by an international or local construction-related professional institution/institute and have registered on the list of the concerned institution/institute.
  • Proactive and responsible with strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
  • MS office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), MS Project, Driving license;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
